Vincent Volya and Comic Books

I was born January 2nd 1987 on Long Island, New York. Growing up I was determined to do two things, become a super hero and publish books that tell stories with words and pictures. As I grew up I realized the first is punishable by law and some what out of reach, but the second wasn't. I put in extra time in elementary school and got my teacher to bind my first book, it was called "Cat Man." He lived in shadows hunting robots. Since then I have made it the underlying goal of my life to publish illustrated stories. I trained in martial arts for fourteen years and currently power lift, throw axes, and go cold weather survival camping. that's how I ended up in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Bed Buggs on Etsy

My name is Krista, I'm a twenty something mom of two and lucky enough to be married to my best friend. I have always been creative from music to crafts and painting to drawing, I love learning new ways to just create.

I learned about Etsy from a friend, and I toyed with the idea of an Etsy shop when my hubby was diagnosed with a rare eye disease causing him to slowly lose his vision. But it wasn't until my hubby was laid off and we just couldn't find work that I decided to give Etsy a try.

My inspiration mainly comes from my "bedbuggs" (nickname for my two kids who always end up in bed with my hubby and I). I love creating things to make them smile. I also am inspired by other Etsy Shops I'm always blown away with how many creative people there are in the world.

The 3 words to describe my shop would be "cute", "unique" and "chic".

My favorite items always change but my current favorite is my White Rose on Robin's Egg Blue Pillow. It's my favorite because I just love the color combo.

I have millions of ideas running through my head for my shop. I'm working on a squirrel pillow (very cute design), car pillow and more flower/ rose pillow . Really I have far more ideas than I have time.

My advice for anyone with an Etsy Shop is to shoot for the stars...as the sky really is your limit, and just be positive and confident in your product! If you really love it, someone else is bound to love it too!
